Drugs and Addiction Prolonged drug use produces compulsive seeking of the drugs. Drugs affect the functioning of the brains' functioning, and that has behavioral implications on the drug addict. Drug addiction leads to chronic relapses, which may lead a person to face problems of disconnection. Prescription drugs are becoming the most abused drug types regardless of the negative influences they produce to the lives and behavior of users. University students in America adapt to illegal use of prescription drugs like Adderall, piracetam and modafinil in search of increased intelligence.

The controversy behind the use of drugs like Adderall is based on the ethical influence on others with relation to effects its use has on addicts. The controversy behind Adderall use comes from the fact that it helps users in enhancing their concentration, while at the same time; it produces negative characteristics on users. As this paper discusses the addictive use of drugs, the focus is on the use of Adderall as an enhancement drug, and how it should be treated focusing on moral aspects of drug use on others. There is also going to be a focus on the essence of relating Adderall use to healthy eating, which is encouraged as use of stimulants and enhancers face daily criticism.

The use of Adderall and other stimulants

Adderall stimulant comprises of a mixture of amphetamine salts, commonly used as a prescription for adults and children diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In recent years, however, people have adapted to using Adderall as an enhancer for higher performance and functioning. Because of the insensitive use of Adderall, piracetam and modafinil, the performance of those on the drugs becomes discredited regardless of how much input they may be placing on their daily activities. This comes resulting from the fact that those on drugs are not at all aware of their routine, as they can no longer control the efforts for achieving their romantic, social academic, CV-building and extracurricular activities. This is contrary to the natural way through, which healthy eating stimulates the performance of individuals. While healthy eating helps people to prevent chances of contracting diseases like cardiac problems, the use of Adderall paves way for its development. The effect that the use of these drugs has on others is far much negative that it would ever be expected. Being that the drugs, influence productivity, it is something that should complement the efforts of others. Nevertheless, that is not the case in scenarios where people use Adderall to perform competitively with others in the work place. This is because the competition is a flaw, which makes others belittled in their efforts within the company. Whenever other workers start performing extremely higher than others do because they are using stimulants, the efforts of colleagues working clean becomes much underrated.
